SR 25 Improvement Project
SR 25, San Felipe Rd (San Benito County) to Bloomfield Ave (Santa Clara County)
This project will convert 10.2 miles of existing two lane highway on SR 25 from San Felipe Rd in San Benito County to Bloomfield Ave in Santa Clara County.

- Caltrans will prepare an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Project and has distributed a Revised Notice of Preparation (NOP).
- Latest update:
- The project was initiated by the Council of San Benito County Governments (SBCOG) in coordination with the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA).

Measure G - Roads, Transportation, Safety and Investment Plan
Countywide
Measure G was unanimously approved by San Benito County voters on November 6, 2018. COG is implementing the San Benito County Roads and Transportation Safety Investment Plan with a 1% sales tax.
- Current phase:
- Tier I: Widen Highway 25 to reduce traffic congestion. Tier II: Maintain local roads, repair potholes, and improve traffic flow. Tier III: Improve bicycle & pedestrian safety, bus services for seniors, people with disabilities, and youth.

- The measure is anticipated to generate an estimated $485 million over thirty years.

U.S. 101 (7.5 miles through northwestern San Benito County)
U.S. 101 serves primary interregional freight and commuter travel in San Benito County. Designated as a Scenic Highway from the Monterey County line to SR 156.
