Regional Transportation Planning Agency for San Benito County

Planning transportation for San Benito County’s future.

Established in December 1973 through a Joint Powers Agreement with the County of San Benito, the City of Hollister and the City of San Juan Bautista. SBCOG prepares the county-wide Regional Transportation Plan, programs transportation funding, and administers Measure G, transit, rideshare and emergency call box programs.

Featured project

SR 25 Improvement Project

This project will convert 10.2 miles of existing two lane highway on SR 25 from San Felipe Rd in San Benito County to Bloomfield Ave in Santa Clara County.

Current phase: Caltrans will prepare an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Project and has distributed a Revised Notice of Preparation (NOP).
