This project will convert 10.2 miles of existing two lane highway on SR 25 from San Felipe Rd in San Benito County to Bloomfield Ave in Santa Clara County.

Current phase: Caltrans will prepare an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Project and has distributed a Revised Notice of Preparation (NOP).

Latest update: The project was initiated by the Council of San Benito County Governments (SBCOG) in coordination with the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA).

  1. Project initiation

    Initiated by SBCOG in coordination with the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA).

    SBCOG publishes an SR 25 Corridor Project public input pathway and directs comments to Caltrans.
