Airport Land Use Commission (ALUC)
The SBCOG Board acts as the Airport Land Use Commission for San Benito County, protecting public safety and preserving Hollister Municipal Airport operations through land use compatibility planning.
Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP)
The Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan regulates noise impact zones, safety compatibility areas, airspace protection (building heights), and overflight notification areas surrounding Hollister Municipal Airport.
Consistency Review Submission
Local agency general plan amendments, specific plans, and zoning updates within the airport influence area must be submitted to the ALUC for consistency determination.
